Abstract
There is becoming an increasing population of online learners with disabilities worldwide; a large percentage of the online learners reside within the United States. In addition to revised legal mandates stipulating equal access to education and the surge of assistive technologies available to individuals with disabilities, distance education institutions are facing the call for action to provide accessible online content.
