Created in 1997, the consortium plans to offer its first product, a master's degree, throughout Asia in early 2003. Now that the courses are almost ready, Universitas 21's member institutions -- including the University of Virginia in the United States -- are starting to put more effort into their other emphasis: devising new ways of academic cooperation....
