A Department of Education, Science and Training report on online education says research has been commissioned to fill a knowledge gap on pedagogical issues. The report shows 23 Australian universities now offer fully online courses. But take-up of online learning methods is patchy. Seven universities have almost all their units online; one has only nine. Management and commerce, education, information technology and health are the disciplines that offer most online courses and units....
