It attempts to link theory to practice and use successful practice to generate theory and valid research data. The investigators studied models of online learning and observed that online interactions are parallel and face-to-face interactions are serial. They attest to the value of collaborative online learning and propose the concept of a “privacy zone.” Abstract -- Individuals interacting as a community of learners were observed constructing transformative knowledge in an interactive, real-time eClassroom designed and implemented for teaching a university level course at the Applied Human Sciences Department, Concordia University, Montreal, Canada....
