LOS ANGELES (CBS.MW) -- Robert Hannigan is four courses shy of earning his masters of business from DeVry University's online campus. In the final stages of his education, it's not uncommon for the 42-year-old to pore over a textbook for three days ahead of an exam. For the husband and father of four sons, time is precious, but online learning has made Hannigan more cognizant of the effort he puts into his work. "Nothing has been diminished by the fact I'm online," said Hannigan, now in his 23rd year of employment at United Parcel Service. "In most cases, I had to work harder and have a better understanding."...
