Canada to grant Jordan Education Ministry $2.2m for e-Learning Initiative

AMMAN (JT) — Minister of Planning Bassem Awadallah and Canadian Ambassador Roderick Bell on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding whereby Canada will grant 3.5 million Canadian dollars ($2.2 million) to support the Ministry of Education's programme to integrate information and communication technology in the national education system.
The project is entitled “The e-Learning Initiative.”....
