SDSU professors use the Web service to post grades and communicate with students

The technology of the Internet has made its move into classrooms across the nation. Blackboard, a Web-based program, has become an expanding style of e-education on a vast amount of school campuses since its founding in June 1997. Originally, Blackboard was established to transform the Internet into a teaching tool, allowing professors to easily communicate with students. As the Internet grows, its roots in e-education will strengthen, the Blackboard Web site states. What began as a collaboration among a team of students and faculty at Cornell University has grown into a user base of more than 5.4 million individuals worldwide....
