Missouri) For most students, dealing with four or five textbooks and a couple of binders can be quite a hassle. Imagine how hard it must be to manage nearly 800 three-inch binders every year. That was the problem facing Kellye Crockett, portfolio coordinator for the College of Education at University of Missouri. Since 1999 Missouri began requiring education students to create portfolios reflecting their education. All this changed at the end of fall semester 2001 as MU made the transition from paper-based portfolios to a Web-based system....
