OCC teachers go for online classes - More taking plunge despite added work

Teaching an online course isn't for everyone, educators at Owensboro Community College said Friday. Generally, online courses must be designed from scratch. Teachers must spend hours creating their own Web pages, researching other Web pages to include in the curriculum, writing tests and otherwise planning a semesterlong series of assignments. Once the courses start, teachers spend hours each day to administer them....
