Fulcrum believes this total rises 60% from 1997. Fulcrum finds that the "online learner" is more web-savvy than the regular user - online learners have used the internet an average of 4.5 years, as opposed to adult users who have been online for 3.7 years, on average. Additionally, online learners spend roughly 15.3 hours per week online, compared to general users' 11.5 hours per week.
