Death by Virtual Overhead

Death by overhead" refers to the experience in which learners are subjected to one-way information dumps delivered using overheads, PowerPoint slides, and Freelance slides. These events are frequently referred to as "training." Some people metaphorically talk about them as lectures. Moreover, learners have become so conditioned that they feel cheated unless they are provided with copies of the presentation. If all of this sounds familiar, then you have probably witnessed "death by overhead."...
