http://chronicle.com/free/2001/11/2001111602t.htm League President Warns 2-Year Colleges to Study Students' Technology Needs By MICHAEL ARNONE Borrowing a famous phrase from Alan Greenspan, chairman of the Federal Reserve Board, the president of the League for Innovation in the Community College said Thursday that two-year institutions are moving from an "irrational exuberance" about technology to a more "rational exuberance." The league's president, Mark David Milliron, also warned that community colleges must evaluate students' needs critically as the colleges race to put courses and other academic functions online....
