Online course in national security sees growing enrollment

(October 18, 2001 4:17 p.m. EDT) - A year ago, police Officer Robert Berry started thinking about pursuing a master's degree in national security. The terror attacks gave him the push he needed to get started, with an online course from American Military University. A little-known, Web-based college, AMU offers a range of courses in homeland security. The program is seeing a burst of interest from people like Berry - a patrolman in the quiet and affluent Greenwich, Conn., who is signed up for Intelligence and Homeland Security....
