Environmental Chemistry students no longer find the course dry and boring, nor are they passive during class discussions.... During lectures particularly, students are more attentive and have dispensed with the usual practice of scrambling to write notes. Topics are discussed and projects worked on through postings by students and lecturer via the course website. Online chats on coursework and practically anything under the sun are undertaken too. It"s all thanks to web-based technology, attests course lecturer Dr Lau Seng....
