http://www.clarionledger.com/news/0110/04/m07.html Record number of junior college students enrolled in online courses By Andy Kanengiser, Clarion-Ledger Staff Writer RAYMOND — Online classes at homes, libraries and businesses have more than doubled at Hinds Community College and other two-year schools this fall. A record 8,119 students are taking online classes at Mississippi's 15 two-year schools. That's up from 3,200 students signed up for classes via computer last fall at the Mississippi Virtual Community College. Hinds Community College President Clyde Muse released reports Wednesday to school trustees showing the growth spurt. He said he expects online enrollment will continue to climb....
