The $90 million company - a 50-50 joint venture between US$6 billion US-based e-learning firm, Thomson Learning, and institutions like the NUS, the University of Hong Kong and the University of Melbourne - was formed last month to address the estimated S$200 billion (US$110 billion) global demand for higher education that is currently unmet, Thomson Learning's president and chief executive officer, Bob Cullen, said yesterday....
