Investors are extremely keen to get into this global business. Only about 2% of it is currently the property of the private sector. In America it is a $260 billion (£177 billion) market, and increasing. Barriers to entry are falling as campus-based education is complemented, if not replaced, by remote technology. The existing leading providers, the universities, are not sophisticated businesses....
