STAR-LEDGER STAFF Colleges everywhere are alarmed by reports that the Internet has made it easier than ever for students to cheat. Now many of them, including Rutgers University, are arming themselves with high-tech tools to fight back. Just in time for the beginning of the new academic year -- classes start Tuesday -- Rutgers University has signed on with a California company that offers anti-plagiarism software. The company, turnitin.com, charges institutions $4,000 for access to a huge database it can scan to identify material lifted from the Internet....
