(U-WIRE) STATE UNIVERSITY, Ark. -- Enrollment in Web-based classes at Arkansas State University has increased this semester by 579 percent, said Dr. Rick McDaniel, interim vice chancellor for academic affairs. Though final numbers have not been released, the early estimates showed 1,090 students enrolled in web courses on the first day of classes. Only 188 students were registered in these classes all last year....
