Karen Frankola, Elearning Solutions Manager at NYUOnline, thinks educators may be acting too swiftly in dismissing financial rewards as elearning motivators. "We've done surveys that are fairly dismissive of financial rewards as motivators. These surveys say that people are more internally motivated, but this may not be totally true," remarks Frankola who has published a series of papers on motivating adult learners online based on her work inside NYUOnline, New York University's online courseware spin-off company....
