Online classes expand D.C. area university campuses

To keep up with the universal dependence on computers and the Internet, many colleges and universities are now offering online courses. In addition to innovative learning methods that deal with Web management, colleges are offering online courses that can be taken without even leaving the home. Most of the online courses provide a syllabus and schedule on a website. An instructor can be reached by e-mail, as well as other students signed up for the class. You don’t have to enter a classroom to take many classes at some area schools, including George Washington University and the University of Maryland....
