(Nasdaq: COCO) today reported record growth in total student population and student starts for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended June 30, 2001. Total student population increased 32% to 25,626, compared with 19,464 at June 30, 2000. Total student population on a same school basis (schools open in both years for the full measurement period), increased 14%. Ed. Note: Corinthian Colleges, Inc. is one of the largest for-profit post-secondary education companies in the United States. As of July 18, 2001, the company operated 56 colleges in 20 states, including 17 in California and nine in Florida....
