Inner Voice

California-based company iTherapy received an AI for Accessibility grant from Microsoft to work on its program InnerVoice, a learning tool for developing language and social communication skills for children with disabilities. InnerVoice will use Microsoft’s AI for Accessibility grant to develop a new way of teaching speech and language skills to people with communication challenges. Through a unique combination of AI image recognition, facial animation, and software-generated speech, InnerVoice helps users learn the relationships shared among images, faces, speech, and text in their homes and communities.
