If we think about this through the patterns and processes that guide innovation, I don’t think sustaining innovations—that just improve our ability to outsource more and more work—will solve this problem. Instead, we need disruptive innovations that reprioritize tackling authentic projects at home, with both children and adults working together. This could build up a generation of young people equipped for the future.”
