Pupils 'still prefer text books' - UK Press Association
Technology may be taking over the classroom, but new research suggests pupils do not want to see text books disappear altogether. Provisional findings from a study commissioned by the Government's technology agency Becta shows that England's teenagers like traditional teaching methods. While they are "very positive" about using computers in class, they are "less enthusiastic about learning which takes place entirely online - instead they prefer a mix of online learning with traditional teaching and learning".
