Schools race to keep up with technology - MICHAEL McBRIDE, Star Press
The general public probably has no idea just how much school systems spend these days on technology, said Supt. Paul Garrison of Daleville Community Schools. First, there's the cost of providing students with the knowledge they need to keep pace with technology in the information age. And then, behind the scenes, there's the money spent to keep track of students, all parts in disparate ways of an increasingly complex statewide cyber-system.
