Cyber bullying reaches inside of homes - Angela Brown, Central Plains Herald-Leader
School days. Happy times for some who only fret over a failed exam, but for others, the test may come outside the classroom in the playground. The saga of the school bully never seems to go away. But today, these miscreants are more pervasive, sneaking their way into tiny cyberspaces, texting out a threat and demanding attention. Portage Collegiate Institute student Briann Sharp, Grade 11, has friends who have dealt with bullies in the past, after a rumour was circulated on Facebook. Sharp doesn’t know what to think when she hears these stories. But when someone is hurt, she believes something has to be done to right the wrong.
