Computer use policy updated for schools - Diane Pottorff, Point Pleasant Register
Computers have become a major tool used by school systems and students alike when researching materials for class. But some students have taken advantage of the Internet by placing inappropriate videos of fights or other illegal activities on Web sites such as MySpace and YouTube. The purpose of technology in Mason County Schools is to support learning and enhance instruction. All technology resources are to be used in a responsible, efficient, ethical and legal manner, according to Greg Martin, director of technology.
