Co Meath School of the Future - Irish Dev News
Dunshaughlin Community College, one of only twelve schools around the world announced by Microsoft Corporation Chairman Bill Gates, as a ‘School of the Future’, today hosted an ‘Innovative Schools’ Conference for staff of post primary schools in County Meath. Minister for Education, Mary Hanafin, T.D. officially opened the conference, which was jointly hosted by Microsoft Ireland. Dunshaughlin Community College, is one of only twelve schools around the world as Bill Gates' School of the Future Teaching and learning for the 21st Century was the main theme of the conference. The event was organised to help teachers manage the changes facing educators today and to explore the ways technology can help in this process.
