Trinity Catholic Embarks On Distance Learning Program - Steve Yablonski, Oswego Daily News
Oswego Mayor John Gosek greets some students after designating Jan. 26-30 as Catholic Schools Week. Thanks to the magic of technology, Trinity Catholic students were taught by a teacher who wasn't in the classroom on Wednesday. The lesson was broadcast over broadband as part of a new distance learning program, explained teacher Denise Knight. The idea was initiated by a company called Myriad Telecom in conjunction with WCNY-TV in Syracuse, she said.
