Teenage cyberhacker in hot water for impersonating education minister - Forneo Bulletin

A Singaporean student who impersonated the education minister and demanded that two of his schoolmates be expelled has been put on two years' probation, the Straits Times reported Wednesday. The 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named because of his age, e-mailed his school claiming he was then Education Minister Teo Chee Hean and demanded the expulsion of the two schoolmates. He had hatched the cyberplot after being involved in a fight with one of the students. He included the name of the second student in the e-mail to cover his identity. But the student was caught after he made the mistake of forwarding the same e-mail to the minister he was impersonating. The education ministry alerted his school soon after receiving the e-mail.
