In his classroom at Gateway Regional High School, James Duggan lectured the four students in his advanced-placement history course about the Articles of Confederation drafted in 1777 by the Continental Congress. At the same time, 45 miles away in Buckland, six students at Mohawk Regional High School were participating in the same class. Welcome to distance learning, which uses audiovisual technology to link schools that want to share resources and specialized classes.
