Technology enhances tools for teachers, students - Sarah St. Cloud Times
John Lelwica used to spend time highlighting the important aspects of his teaching text and chalking the notes on the board. Thanks to new technology from textbook publishing companies, he can customize the PowerPoint presentation that comes with the book to present notes to students.... Publishers also are beginning to provide schools with digital copies of textbooks and student access to online practice tests and tutorials. The Internet also has prompted educators to look more closely at distancelearning possibilities.
