Report tackles 'digital divide' - Aesha Rasheed, Times-Picayune

As nearly 10,000 educators gathered in New Orleans to talk about the future of public education, a coalition of teachers and technology companies kicked off the National Education Association's national conference with the release of a plan for creating tech-savvy schools and school districts. The report analyzes the use of technology in classrooms and school offices and was drafted by the Partnership for 21st Century Skills, a group that includes the NEA and seven leading computer and software companies.
