CIC Brings Shakespeare to Life With Broadband - THE Journal
Shakespeare is coming to life on the Web through Cable in the Classroom's "Shakespeare: Subject to Change" (http://www.ciconline.org/bdp1), a multimedia online exploration of variations in Shakespeare. This 15-minute slice of learning is the first in a series being developed by CIC - one of its many new research initiatives showcasing the unique teaching and learning potential of interactive technology. "Shakespeare: Subject to Change" allows learners to benefit from content in an open, interactive environment using text, images, audio, full-motion video and animations. The site features multisensory experiences where users can read, hear, interact and create their own variations of Shakespeare classics.
