Holt Online Learning Science Series Wins TIM Award

Holt, Rinehart and Winston today announced that the Holt Online Learning science series (http://www.hrw.com/onlinese ) has been recognized for Notable Achievement in Education by the 2003 Texas Interactive Media Achievement (TIM) Awards (www.aama.org/tim). The Austin Area Multimedia Alliance (AAMA) in conjunction with the South by Southwest Interactive (SXSW) Festival 2003 sponsored the TIM Awards, which spotlight multimedia and interactive products and information services produced by Texas-based companies. A jury of industry experts from throughout Texas worked with the AAMA in selecting products that demonstrate outstanding achievement and which are deserving of public recognition. The Holt Online Learning science series, launched in September 2002, is a web-based textbook series for middle and high school science.
