Virtual school field trip exciting - MATTHEW RALPH, Bridgeton News

Rather than read about estuaries from textbooks, Margie Rowe's seventh-grade science classes at Lakeside Middle School visited the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City Thursday -- without ever leaving Millville. Rather than gather permission slips, arrange bus service and take the day off to go to the science center just across the Hudson River from New York City, Rowe met her classes in the distance learning center at the school and together they visited the center and interacted with instructors.
