Teacher Puts Eyes in the Back of Her Head - Kathleen Weaver, techLearning
I typically have 30 or more students in my computer science classes. That alone makes teaching and nurturing each student a challenge. With several computers in the classroom, I needed a way to help keep my students on task. At the same time, I felt it was my responsibility to know what they were doing and to make sure they were not off playing games or visiting inappropriate sites on the Internet. I found a solution in a software product called LanSchool Monitor. This program displays a "thumbnail" view of each student's computer screen on my computer. I can generally tell from the thumbnail view if a student is using the computer in an inappropriate way.
