NY Eyes Virtual Classrooms via Internet - CARL CAMPANILE, NY Post

Summer-school students could be taught via the Internet or video hookups under a proposal eyed by Schools Chancellor Joel Klein's office, The Post has learned. The Department of Education will examine plans from companies to provide programs for direct instruction to students "through distance-online learning" - as well as in classrooms.
