S.D. Distance learning network keeping students, officials say - Asociated Press
The state's distance learning network is retaining most students and receiving high marks from them, a state education official told the House Education Committee on Thursday. Ninety-five percent of more than 1,500 students who started video conferencing classes on the state's Dakota Digital Network finished the fall semester, said Tammy Bauck, director of educational technology with the state Education Department.
