That is the assessment of Director of Secondary Education Shelly Riedel, who briefed the school board this week on a growing problem facing education. She says Mechanicsburg has contracted with www.Turnitin.com, an on-line company offering a service districts can purchase to catch students trying to plagiarize school work.
