BT targets home learning market - Richard Agnew

BT is to launch a range of child-oriented and curriculum-linked online learning courses for the home market next month. The telco will aggregate content aimed at younger learners from different educational software publishers in one portal, dubbed the BT Learning Centre, and charge parents between £2.50 and £7.99 per month for access. Content will be tied in with the national curriculum and software used by schools, and the telco will run a reward scheme for schools when parents sign up.
