Looking for ways to make technology really count in your classroom? Want those computers, digital cameras, and scanners to really enhance the quality of your students' learning? For many teachers, "use technology effectively" is just one additional expectation on a laundry list of academic requirements that includes, among other things, "build curriculum around standards," "prepare students for the high-stakes test," and "ensure that students have real-world skills." It is an uphill struggle to find the time to squeeze in lessons that, on top of everything else, also have to get students using computers and the Internet.
