...Officials are expected to decide whether the district should join the online learning system during a school board meeting tonight. Illinois Virtual High School made its debut in 2000 and became fully-operational the next year. Managed by the Illinois State Board of Education, the program offers online classes to students in some 300 participating school districts statewide.
