Looking for funds to make an innovative technology project possible? Seeking recognition for outstanding teachers or students in your district? Here's a sampling of some great opportunities. 3Com's Urban Challenge Grants offer cities, schools, and other community agencies the opportunity to work collaboratively to develop proposals for providing information technology access to members of the community. Grants are awarded on a rolling basis, so although the deadline for this application period is November 1, it is to the applicant's benefit to submit a proposal prior to that deadline. Selected grantees are awarded $100,000 in 3Com technology. The application and other information may be accessed at the Web site....
