Online Schools Won't Get Easy 'A'

Even after a couple of years on the scene, online schools are still treated like the awkward new kid in class. But administrators of virtual K-12 schools (where teachers and students interact on the Internet) say expanding enrollment attests to their popularity with parents. This fall, according to researchers at the Center for Education Reform, students in 13 states can choose to stay home and log on for their lessons instead of waiting for the yellow school bus....
