After much research and investigation, the CEO Forum asserts that the way to obtain the maximum return on our national investment in education technology begins with focusing technology on the key building blocks of student achievement— assessment, alignment, accountability, access and analysis. In addition, the definition of student achievement must be broadened to include the 21st century skills that will be required for students to thrive in the future. In the same ways that technology helped revitalize American business, education technology offers great promise for improving education. This report comes at a critical juncture....
