Ray is an excellent, thoughtful instructor. He always reads everyone’s posts and questions, and responds to everyone equally. He is the best Internet teacher I have ever had.

Great class, even better instructor. I learned more in 8 weeks in Ray’s class than many of the others I have taken.

I think this class should be required. It has assisted me in updating my research skills and given me access to a wealth of information.

The course content and teacher were both beyond my expectations. The instructor was always available and worked hard to set the tone of our virtual classroom. He made sure everyone was comfortable with the discussion boards and posted frequently with additional information, additional questions, support and gentle rebuttals when needed. He is extremely knowledgeable about the subject matter. Lectures and links were helpful and discussion topics relevant. Although the assignments and course reading seemed to be in line with a two credit class, the amount of reading and responding on discussion boards seemed more like a three credit class.

Having this opportunity for online learning has been invaluable for me this summer. I look forward to having future communication with Prof. Schroeder.

I think Ray is exceptionally organized and ready for any questions from a student. He does expect a student to read what he says and follow it – his patience is tested when a student doesn’t follow what he says to do and didn’t ask questions when there was something not clear for the student. However, this is a character trait and probably not a bad thing. I will say that he really has the idea of online teaching well thought out. I enjoyed having him as a professor in this class. I’d recommend him to any student thinking of taking one of his classes.

Ray is an exceptional teacher who truly cares about his students.

I really enjoyed this class, I feel though that it would be better taught as a Freshman class versus one for upper class. What I learned in this class I could have used doing my initial research paper for Com 112. But, all in all, a very interesting and thoughtful class which I enjoyed immensely. I would definitely take a class with this instructor again. And, recommend him to others.

I think this was the most influential course I have taken because the instructor is astounding! He answered all comments in a timely manner; he presented the learning experience in an interesting format; he made the learning experience personally rewarding to me. I will enroll in all the courses Ray Schroeder teaches. Ray Schroeder is possibly the best teacher I have ever had... and I have 15 years experience as a Technology Teacher.

Ray Schroeder is an exceptionally qualified instructor who cares about his students, course content, and timeliness of response which is unusual for online courses. I consider Ray Schroeder to be the best instructor I have had to date.

Ray was very nice and attentive to everyone equally. Plus he responded to everyone’s postings and any additional questions. It is hard to find an Internet teacher who does as good a job as he does.

Prof. Schroeder is a great teacher. He is very motivated, knowledgeable, and caring professor. More than willing ot help anyone who has a question in his class or answer any Internet questions you may have. I have enjoyed htis class very much and have learned a lot. Great class and great professor!

I wish more instructors were like Ray. The course expectations were clear from the beginning and his frequent comments throughout the postings helped in absorbing the material.
