Comments:

I have taken on-line courses at another institution and have found that Ray Schroeder has been the best instructor I've had.  While I was not familiar with Blackboard, I've found it to be easy to navigate and the layout of the course material easy to find and to follow.  I look forward to my next course with Mr. Schroeder and am anxious for the next semester to start.  Unlike the other courses I've had, Mr. Schroeder has been very accessible via e-mail and the discussion board and very knowledgeable about the course material.  I'm enrolled in the LIS on-line degree program and this is my first semester at UIS and I'm happy to say that  this  has been the most positive learning experience I've had in years and I am thrilled to have been accepted to UIS and look forward to future courses with this instructor  and with UIS in general.  Thank you!! I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to attend UIS and very happy that I've found a college that fits with my learning needs and my schedule.  I cannot thank you enough  for the great instruction and the accessibility that UIS is offering me as a student.

Ray is an incredible Professor.  He offers a lifetime contract with his students, which is unheard of.  So anytime I need computer help, he will help me.  Ray was available at all times, even at 5 in the morning when I get up to do homework.  It's not often students get great teachers like Ray!

Ray was a great teacher.  I have to admit when I signed up for this class I didn't expect a lot, but I thought I might learn something.  I am happy to say that I have learned an extensive amount and am eager to take his next class.  Ray is knowledgeable on the subject and presents everything in a way that is easy to understand.  I have shared much of the information with my friends and family and have learned more in this class than many of the others.

Professor Schroeder is an excellent instructor.  He was very helpful to me in this course.  I like the fact that he was quick to respond to my questions or to discuss any concerns.  As an instructor he is one of the best that I have had in a long time.

I have taken several onlin courses and I have found this course to be exceptional in both presentation and content.  I really enjoyed and benefited from the format of powerpoint lectures with streamed audio rather than the "usual" printed lecture format of other online courses.  I hope this is just the beginning of what's to come of online courses.

I believe Ray is very dedicated to the advancement of his students.  He was helpful and supportive.  This internet class was one of the most immediately useful classes that I've ever had and I would recommend to anyone even vaguely interested in the subject.

Excellent, exceptional instructor.  Always available for insight and positive feedback.  I am actually taking another course next term he is teaching.  Really enjoyed the course.

This is my first on-line class and my first class in quite a long time.  I miss the interaction that a live class room brings.  Other than that the class was very well planned.  The lessons did make note of past semesters and not fall 02.

Dr. Schroeder is an excellent instructor and I have strengthened my knowledge of the internet from participating in his class.

I would recommend this course for everyone in college regardless of their major because at some point you will interface the internet and this class in one semester has touched on virtually every aspect of the internet.  I am eternally grateful.
