Jobs Pulls A (Thin) Laptop Out Of The Air - Brian Caulfield, Forbes
The moment was signature Steve Jobs: Standing on stage at the Macworld conference in San Francisco, Apple's chief executive pulled out an interoffice envelope and opened the flap. "Let's explore this in detail," he said. From the envelope emerges the MacBook Air--the thinnest notebook computer on the planet, measuring .16 inches at its narrowest point. The features are sweet: The machine has a 13.3-inch display and a full keyboard. A magnetic latch keeps it closed. "This is crazy," says one member of the audience. They like it.
